The podcast does not fulfill the notability guidelines shown at WP:WEB. Ideally the article subject should have been mentioned in several notable publications/locations in a non-trivial way (i.e an article about them is OK, but an article they feature in for one sentence is not).

Please do not remove the speedy deletion template at the top of the page. The best idea would to look at ]
Wikipedia has notability guidelines; rules about what makes something important enough for a page. The notability guidelines for podcasts, websites and so on are at
WP:WEB
, and for a piece of webcontent like your podcast to be considered important enough for a page, it must:
Thanks for the advice; I normally archive once a month. Ir on ho ld s 23:03, 4 October 2008 (UTC) [ reply ]
All podcasts are on the internet, heh. Itunes is not a sign of notability; anyone and everyone can post on Itunes (I believe Wikipedia's podcast is there, for example). You need to find something from neutral sources (so, for example, not from something you created) that are about the podcast if you want to show that it is notable and worth keeping. Well you can, but again, you'd need to show that the Disney Channel Wiki is important by using neutral, established sources. Ir on ho ld s 23:08, 4 October 2008 (UTC) [ reply ]
Neutral and established sources would be things like newspapers, or important websites (CNN, the bbc website, so on) which aren't related to the web content itself. So the Disney Channel website, for example, would not be acceptable because it is biased. Ir on ho ld s 23:11, 4 October 2008 (UTC) [ reply ]
Not unless you can find neutral sources, i'm afraid. You're still very welcome to help contribute to Wikipedia in other ways, however. Ir on ho ld s 23:15, 4 October 2008 (UTC) [ reply ]
An article on wikipedia has to be about something notable. Notability for webcontent such as podcasts is established (well, one of the ways) by it being mentioned in notable publications (news sites, newspapers, important websites, so on). Neutral just means "websites not related to the podcast". Ir on ho ld s 23:18, 4 October 2008 (UTC) [ reply ]
I'm afraid so, but if you can find the notable sources we talked about then you're welcome to do so at a later date. As I said, you're still welcome to contribute to wikipedia in other ways.Ir on ho ld s 23:21, 4 October 2008 (UTC) [ reply ]
I'm not sure, it isn't really my area of expertise. I'm sure if you ask out at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Disney they have something you could help with. Ir on ho ld s 23:24, 4 October 2008 (UTC) [ reply ]
Not sure if you can do that, i'm afraid! But there's probably a lot of stuff I don't know, heh. Ir on ho ld s 23:27, 4 October 2008 (UTC) [ reply ]
