Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Positions

Why are you capitalising all the player positions? FYI,

Small Forward links to Small forward; besides there is no need to capitalise that anyway. Also, Guard and Forward link to disambiguation pages because Guard and Forward are not just basketball positions. So when someone is a shooting guard/point guard, you don't need to change that to just "Guard". Some players a genuinely a shooting guard primarily, shooting guard secondary. If need be, link [[Forward (basketball)|Forward]] like this. Cheers. DaHuzyBru (talk) 06:00, 9 July 2014 (UTC)[reply

Capitalization of "free agent" and player positions in infoboxes

Hi. Regretfully, I am in the process of reverting many of your recent edits to Wikipedia articles about NBA players. Most of these reversions are because you are capitalizing the word "free agent" and player positions in player infoboxes. Other changes are being reverted because you are deleting multiple player position descriptions from the infoboxes without explanation. Many Wikipedia editors have worked long and hard to have standard formatting standards in our NBA player articles, and your recent edits are disruptive and are undoing the efforts of many of your fellow Wikipedia editors. Please stop. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 20:20, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The caps issue above, which appears to have become the subject of a block last month, has become problematic again. What's going on?

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Al-Farouq Aminu. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. I see you have been asked several times about why you are going against capitalization standards with no response. This is disruptive editing and if you continue to do it, you'll be blocked. Also, please stop replacing specific positions with more general. There is no call for it. Thanks.
