Hey, I notice you've been working on articles related to Aimee Allen. Just though I'd point out that she and Unwritten Law singer Scott Russo did in fact have a well-publicized relationship around the time of the Unwritten Law album Here's to the Mourning (a piece of info that you had removed from the article). She co-wrote vocals with Russo for the album and also contributed to the writing of the music for the hit single "Save Me (Wake Up Call)." Their collaboration resulted in the "side project" Scott & Aimee, who released an album titled Sitting in a Tree, an obvious allusion to their relationship. Aimee Allen by definition is not Scott Russo's girlfriend and is definitely not his girlfriend currently. She is a successful singer/songwriter. If we are defining people by who they date, we are seeing a sad turn for the future of Wikipedia. Aimee should be represented for the talent she is and not by whomever she dated at any point. She was not Scott Russo's girlfriend at the time she recorded Unwritten Law's record. That came later with "Sitting In A Tree." While they were in a relationship at the time of the interview that you reference, the album was recorded prior to their relationship. Common practice on Wikipedia is to keep discussions on a single talk page so they can be easily followed, and your talk page is now on my watchlist so I'll see when you respond (and vice versa). Also, it helps if you sign your posts by typing 4 tildes (~~~~) so people can see whose comment it is and when it was posted. Anyway, a couple of responses to your comments:

I'm certainly not trying to define people by who they date, but I think it is completely appropriate to mention that Russo and Allen were in a relationship, as it clearly played some role in (or possibly resulted from) her collaborations on Here's to the Mourning and certainly in their project Scott & Aimee. I don't know if she was his "girlfriend" at the time the album was recorded, but you'll notice that the article I cited is dated 2 months before the album's release and he refers to her as his "girlfriend" in it. I changed the wording in the Here's to the Mourning article to say that Russo & Allen began a romantic relationship around the time the album was recorded & released. Given the absence of further references, readers can draw their own conclusions. I agree that Allen should be represented as an artist on her own merit, but it is certainly pertinent to mention their relationship in this article. Finally, I object to your assertation that my information is inaccurate. The bottom line here is that I have provided a reference and a citation for the information I have added. You have removed this reference and have not provided another to support your claim (that they were not dating at the time Mourning was recorded). If you're not prepared to support your info with references, then you can't expect it to stick. And you definitely shouldn't remove information that is appropriately referenced.
