Thanks, DoubleGrazing, for taking your time to review my draft. I know that I don't have many editions here on the English Wikipedia, but I have some more on the Catalan Wikipedia and I'm aware of this problem of the notability. Now, the question is how do you measure this notability. Luca Chiantore is a very respected scholar speciallized on Beethoven, whith more that 1300 mentions on papers, books and articles (source: academia.edu) with "only" 4 paper titles authored by him. He is mentioned in the Für Elise article because of his thesis, cited in the newyorker and Die Welt, two well respected newspapers. I believe his is notable enough by far, yes on a very concret knowledge field. Is there a way that you could help me on to make this notability clear enough? thanks. Hi,

The usual way of demonstrating notability is the

WP:GNG

general notability standard. This requires significant coverage (of the subject, not of some indirectly related matters) in multiple (usually 3+) secondary sources that are reliable and independent of the subject. Of the sources cited in this draft, the two that would otherwise meet this standard (being secondary, reliable and independent), namely Die Welt and The New Yorker, don't provide significant coverage of Chiantore, only passing mentions, citing him as a source rather than discussing him as the article subject. In any case, two sources isn't enough to satisfy GNG.

There are also a few special notability standards which could apply, such as

WP:NACADEMIC

; based on what you say (and what you don't say!), I'm assuming the latter would be more relevant here, ie. that Chiantore is more likely to be notable as a scholar than as a pianist? In which case, the NACADEMIC guideline lists eight possibilities for how someone could be considered notable; you need to make sure that the draft content clearly demonstrates that one (or more) of these is satisfied, and provide evidence to support that.
