Redirect exists and points to correct target

In all cases, I've also checked that the alternative name is given in the lede, and if not, added it, unless it is merely a differently-punctuated variant. I haven't checked that the Cleere reference (or any other reference) is included in the article to support the alternative name. Note that in some of these, the redirect is in the other direction, or even to a third correct name, but that's fine.

We have both name and target (whether name points to correct target not yet checked)

Other problem names

  • Chuck -> Chuck-will's-widow. There's also a (very long) disambiguation page for "Chuck". Action: Add Chuck-will's-widow to this page and add Chuck as an alternative name to Chuck-will's-widow article
  • Montane Nightjar
are the same species but have separate articles. Action: Merge, and mention alternative name in lede.
  • It may not be as simple as that, since IUCN have these as two separate species. I have added the links to IUCN on the species pages. I do not know what is the most widely accepted taxonomy. Snowman (talk) 22:47, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
