- I would think that somebody's done a transcription in a reliable source, but then the problem becomes one of copyright - since there is ambiguity in the work, it introduces an element of creativity that makes any transcription copyrightable, and not usable unless the author releases the copyright. Because WP is a free-content work, redistributable freely, it makes it remarkably hard to find a transcription that's neither original research by a contributor nor effectively copyrighted. It's a problem in this kind of situation. 11:31, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
