Copyright violation

The image File:Aglet.jpg that you uploaded to Commons will be deleted, as you copied it from http://www.globalsources.com/gsol/I/Shoelace-aglet/a/9000000134049.htm and it must be assumed that HKO Industrial Manufactory Co. holds the copyright to the image. I know that you're new to Wikipedia, but please take a few moments to look at this and to read Wikipedia:Image use policy. In almost no case can one upload random images found on the Web either on Commons or here. If you have any questions about editing or images, you're welcome to ask them at my talk page or at the Teahouse. Deor (talk) 08:52, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks Deor! I was just about to come here and mention this! Sara, while this wasn't part of your required tutorials, I heavily recommend that you look over the module on adding images and media to Wikipedia before progressing further with adding images. On a side note, a better alternative to taking images from the Internet would be if you were to take a picture of aglets on your shoes and upload that, as this would fall within uploading guidelines.
