Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia! We have a shared interest in flute. Do you have a printed or other authoritative source for your material on playing technique? That would help other editors do fact-checking and other fixup later. For instance, I often get my WP material from Nancy Toff's book. Stan 12:31, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I also noticed that there is a section on Jazz flute that consists mostly of your opinion. I've been discussing it on the talk page for flute, and it was recommended that I let you know that I'm removing that paragraph - leave a message on my talk page if you wanna discuss it more. Thanks! --Sorcerer of words 15:14, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Signing unsigned comments

It is an accepted convention that a user's unsigned comments can be signed by someone else using the {{Unsigned}} template. This is what I did. I also took the liberty of formatting your exact words into a more clearly readable form. I did not change the wording nor its meaning in anyway shape or form. This of course should have been unnecessary had you used the correct formatting in the first place, as well as signing your additions. Thank you. --Fred the Oyster (talk) 23:08, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Recent comments

Please try to keep your comments to a single page and focus on improving the article. Posting articles who simple crow about editors being banned are not helpful. I am removing the list from all but the Edwin Black article. I absolutely question the usefullness of the post, but will see what others think. Thank you.

Correction, I've removed it from 2 of the 3 article pages you posted the list, but did not touch the addition to the user talk page.

It is possible if not likely that the individual is simply not familiar with WP conventions and interface itself and that this was entirely done in good faith. The multiple listings show syndication and the validation of other media. Hence not a lone post on a stray site. I am not even sure which article we are discussing at this point, but if was the News piece, it seemed to be straight news which ran in the news sections. But from my perspective, if it matters, it could go either way as useful or peripheral to improving the article. Generally speaking, if it is news, I err on the side of learning more.
