I use Sibelius (5), which I've been lucky enough to have (for over a decade). Then I export MIDI files from Sibelius. It is fairly easy to use, once one figures out the math (Sibelius's pitch bend uses two numbers, one changes pitch by 3.125 cents and the other by 0.25 cents:
You should be able to use many of the files from Wikipedia on the Xenharmonic Wiki, as long as you respect the licensing. For most of the files I've created the license is probably both GFDL (1.2?) and a CC (3.0?). You would want to look at the specifics, but these basically require attribution (you may use them, however you like, but you have to give credit to where you got them) and use of the same license(s) (for example File:Ab jazz minor scale (G7) resolving to C.png, uses these licenses). Many of the files I've created are PD-ineligible, meaning they are so basic such common knowledge that they are ineligible for copyright (File:C major scale.PNG). Some of the files I've created are fair-use, meaning they are excerpts of copyrighted works. Hyacinth (talk) 23:37, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
