Welcome!

Hello, Showhoinc, and

welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one of your contributions does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV)

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. Help me!

Please help me with... Hi Wiki Team, I'm attempting to add, (Papermill Playhouse) and its production of South Pacific in the 'South Pacific Musical' page for Wiki and would like to clarify my addition with you and confirm why it belongs in the Wiki listing for this show. First and foremost being that The PaperMill Playhouse was heralded by The Governor of New Jersey as the Official theater of the state. (which is clearly noted on the actual Wiki Page for Papermill Playhouse along with a slew of other noteworthy specs and stats.) Not only that, but The Papermill Playhouse is by most accounts nationally recognized as the most prestigious Regional Theater in the entire United States. The NYTimes write-up I'm including is further confirmation on the success of this particular production, and I would sincerely appreciate if you and your editors would please leave my addition in. This particular production also features a slew of notable actors who have all garnered world wide acclaim on Broadway, as well as in a myriad of successful Film and TV projects. Many thanks for your consideration here. Showhoinc (talk) 02:29, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

After your addition was reverted, your next step should have been to open a discussion on talk page Talk:South Pacific (musical) to make the case that you were trying to make here that your addition is noteworthy enough to be added to the article. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:52, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
But now that I've looked at what you were trying to add, I would also advise you to lose the promotional tone in your editing. You need to discuss this with the other editors who have objected to your addition and see if there is a compromise to be had. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:59, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I think the problem is that it looks like, to both Ssilvers and me, that this is a regional production no different than hundreds of others over the years, You should start a discussion at
Talk:South Pacific as suggested if you disagree.--Wehwalt (talk) 14:57, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply
