Naming conventions

FYI, we customarily use the same name for a people and their language, where possible. This is because the correspondences can become quite opaque when derivation is by prefix, infix, or circumfix. Thus

Sama language rather than Sinama. All the ethnic names are convoluted enough without having to double their number to cover the languages. There are few exceptions, usually having to do with disambiguation (e.g. there are several Bantu languages named Ngala, Lingala is almost universally known under the prefixed form, vs. e.g. Bangala, and the language is not particularly associated with the original people who spoke it anyway.) — kwami (talk) 21:32, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply

I provided 9 references and cited them inline to demonstrate what was written on this page. I took the initiative for this article, because I was impressed at what he had done. I reached out to the freediver himself for the images which he donated, but I have no connection to the person at all. I have never met them. This shouldn't have been made a draft.
