Hi SarahSV! You've been really helpful in the past to a wiki-newbie like myself, and I wondered if you could help me with a page I wrote about another musician I really like who's been featured in some big press recently. The article was flagged for speedy deletion a few days ago, but I haven't been able to get any responses on why/what to do other than contesting it (it's now been 2 days). Would you mind taking a look and letting me know your thoughts? I really appreciate it, and I'm not really sure what about the article got it flagged! KaylynBuckley (talk) 16:49, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi KaylynBuckley, I get only 37 Google hits for his real name + stage name; 60 for the stage name alone; 53 under Google news. That suggests it may be too soon for an article. If you want to try, focus on the news sources, reporting what he has done, rather than PR sources promoting him. For example, find sources for the India tour. (talk) Thank you!! What's a good guideline for a number of hits on a subject? KaylynBuckley (talk) 22:15, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
A rule of thumb for something like this is if you can easily count the Google hits, there may be a problem. Perhaps you could list your best sources in a sandbox, along with a summary of what they say. That will give you an overview, and you can decide from there whether you have enough. Ace Money Transfer

Hiya, since you were the last admin to attend to this article ACE Money Transfer that keeps popping up like something of a bad penny, could you please check out the latest incarnation at Ace Money Transfer — thanks! -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:42, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ezra

I'm very impressed with all the recent work here, its great to see. Obviously such a difficult topic need extreme precision; in case its not clear, you are trusted in that regard, will leave the page for a few weeks. Best as always. Ceoil (talk) 08:39, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Ceoil, I appreciate that. I've started working on a subpage about the broadcasts, so I'll be shortening that soon summary-style, and that will take some pressure off the length. SarahSV (talk) 21:01, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Re Ezra Pound's radio broadcasts, 1941–1945; very, very well done. That's a fine lead, staying to the sources but not pulling punches, grippingly written. We watch and learn. Ceoil (talk) 19:40, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for these kind words, which are reviving my spirit after a long wrestling match with the Pound books, not quite over. SarahSV (talk) 20:21, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing truly worthwhile ever came easy. Ceoil (talk) 22:25, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey SlimVirgin, I am writing because I see you've contributed a great deal to WP:RS. Thx!
