Hi Dr.Slinky Pupper,

I really appreciate your work on metal engineering and your donation for this research area. Nowadays, I am writing one paper related to your theory, I want to cite your work as my reference. Do you have any publications related to recovery or recrystallization, especially about your figure for process of recovery? Thank you!

Good grain boundary diagram

Great work on the SVG Image:TiltAndTwistBoundaries remade.svg. It's clear and presents the concept easily to laymen like me. 128.158.145.51 17:46, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Displacive phase transformations

I came across this new to me definition via the vanadium oxide disambig page. In this Magnéli phases having general formulae VnO2n−1 are quoted as examples of displacive phase transformations. I would refer to these phases as cystallographic shear compounds which I think are different--before I correct the article could you confirm whether I'm right please. Cheers.
