Foxfire is a three-piece heavy rock

drums, vocals), and Stephen Carrington (bass, vocals). They have released a self-titled EP[2], a full-length CD (Early Rising)[3], and are currently planning their second album
.

Biography

Formation and History

Foxfire was formed in 2004 when Rachel Collins and Kris Hale began playing together, this being the first band for each of them.[4] Then in 2006, after the first two bass players hadn't panned out, they found a workable partner in Stephen Carrington, who had achieved some notoriety in local bands Pickman's Model, Plaster[5], Qualone[6], and Armazilla. After many shows around the southeast[7], they felt ready to record a demo of the songs they had been writing. They were pleased with the results, and decided to release it as a self-titled EP[8] in 2007.

Foxfire is currently planning a second

full-length
recording with a tentative release date of December 2009.
