User talk:Spike 'em/rd

I seem to have attracted a number of IP comments which are basically accusing me of being BlackJack, which I think all lead back to banned user Richard Daft, who has had many IP SPIs and with whom BlackJack has had a long running dispute.

• I have amalgamated the various comments with some explanation / background in italics.
• Some names / locations were mentioned which are also mentioned in other investigations / exchanges relating to BlackJack (I have now redacted these names / places on this page in case they breach
  WP:PRIVACY
  ).
• They are all anonymous IP edits from addresses that link back to BT in and around Shropshire.
  • (Feb 2019) It seems Daft has moved to New Zealand, referencing the fact on a couple of occasions.
• To make clear, I am not BlackJack and have no objection to anyone doing a checkuser to prove that I'm not. I have made lots of edits within
  WP:N which I do not agree with. My other major area of editing is Crystal Palace F.C. which I don't think overlaps with any of BlackJack's previous areas of interest. Spike 'em (talk) 10:34, 5 February 2018 (UTC)[reply

This exchange took place in Feb 2018 and led to me raising an SPI. I was unsure at first as to whether it was just a comment on BlackJack or referencing me directly, but the second comment makes it clear.
It is sad to see people trapped in the same sad, fantasy ridden cycle. I agree with you. You'd think people like that would grow up. I was up near Keighly watching Luctonians and made a few enquiries at the library.
