Thunderhead

Hi. The Thunderhead article is indeed a disambiguation page, as you can see by virtue of its proper contents, that are displayed in the versions prior to your February 11 edit. You cannot simply hijack a disambiguation page and arbitrarily turn it into one devoted to one of the subjects listed there. If you want to start an article devoted to one of the subjects, then you are supposed to do just that, and only if that subject qualifies by its noteworthiness, which the Thunderhead character obviously does not. Please do not change the article again. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 00:44, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi. Sorry for the problem, I will not undo it, the reason I thought it wasn't is due to it's name. Most Disambiguation pages are like Name (disambiguation) and this one was just the name. If I could find mor einformation out about Thunderhead may I make another page called Thunderhead (character)? Thanks, and again sorry. --Talk to Stealth500 (talk) 01:19, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Pencil reversion

Why did you revert this? - Denimadept (talk) 19:55, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

I reverted it since I did not thought it had a place. When I reverted this edit I saw that it was partially obvious and more or less not needed. --'''Stealth500''' (talk) 19:58, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
I'm trying to eliminate the trivia section. Why did you revert the rest if you only disagreed with the most recent edit? - Denimadept (talk) 19:59, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Given the lack of any reason for reverting my edit, I'm restoring most of the edit. I'm not interested in participating in an edit war. If you want to discuss alternative edits, please feel free to bring them up on the Talk:Pencil page. - Denimadept (talk) 21:04, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Redirect for Twin Cam

Hi there. I would like to ask why you undid my redirect of the Twin Cam article to Dual overhead camchaft part of the overhead camshaft article? The overhead camshaft article explains Dual Overhead Camshafts ('Twin Cam') in much more depth and detail than the two lines in the 'Twin Cam' article. The Twin Cam article serves no purpose being an seperate article as it has no real content and is about a form of Overhead Camshafs in the first place. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DarkBahamut15 (talkcontribs) 23:06, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

As you can see from the preceeding examples, this user seems to like to revert things which don't need reverting, and gives no reason for doing so. Personally, I'd like to seem him blocked for a time to larn him. - Denimadept (talk) 02:41, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
umm, this is the second time, and I thought that it was not for wikipedia. Also, I used the rollback feature which doesn't give the ability to say why it was done. I am sorry you think I should be blocked. --Stealth500 (talk) 02:44, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Okay, maybe that was going too far, but reverting things w/o any reason is not exactly a friendly thing to do. - Denimadept (talk) 07:48, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
I realize that however since I am using the
Wikipedia Rollback Feature and the scripts that could change what it is saying are dead, I have no way to change what it says, therefore it is the default reason. --Stealth500 (talk
) 11:39, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Perhaps you might want to go back to a method that is more polite, then, especially if, as has been shown, you've rolled back things which should have been left alone. - Denimadept (talk) 15:05, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
I will think about that, thanks. Would you think that it would be ok to then leave a message on the talk page to explain why? --Stealth500 (talk) 17:39, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I think that'd help a lot. - Denimadept (talk) 21:08, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Ok, thank you for your suggestions. Stealth500 (talk) 11:20, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Sorry to have to say this, but your attempted archiving of this talk page appears to have gone wrong, in that the "archived" page isn't linked from the current page's Archive box, as it's supposed to be. Perhaps because there was already an "Archive 1" page?

Actually there wasn't; it was "Archive1". Fortunately this means that you didnt overwrite the existing page. :) I've turned your page into a redirect to my version,
Talk:The_Incredibles/Archive2. -- Korax1214 (talk
) 09:14, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Hence I reverted; feel free to re-archive this page (after I've done my current edit of course) — 217.171.129.72 (talk) 08:22, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

I can't remember what edit I was going to make. :( However, the reason for this extra comment is to ask, is there any way for archiving of the page (with proper linking as stated above) to be only up to (and not including) the penultimate section "Doc Hudson", since that discussion is still active (it's not May 16 yet)? -- 217.171.129.72 (talk) 08:29, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Never mind, done the re-archiving myself. -- Korax1214 (talk) 09:01, 25 March 2008 (UTC) (currently one of the many thousands of users on 217.171.*)

OK, I am very confused, but thank you for fixing this :) Stealth (talk) 10:44, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Why not just start a new discussion on the article's Talk page? Hardly anyone would visit a Talk page's subpage.

Hey, just a few pointers on a few things. (I don't mean to seem 'preachy' or anything, in any way - I'm just pointing you to Wikipedia policies to help your editing.)
  • Italics should only be used for specific things, which are found at
    MOS:TITLE
    .
  • Footnotes should be after punctuation marks per
    WP:FN
    .
  • Use one of the citation templates at
    WP:CIT
    .
  • Only add links to the Reference section if they are used more than once in the Notes section (i.e. that is the case with the books.)
  • Try not to link to sites such as YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, etc. per
    WP:RS
    .
Again, I appreciate the help you have been doing so far with the article though. Keep it up. Thanks!

I can't add much more, I started the article when I bought one. The articles in the NYT and WJ have all the info needed, there is still more to extract in them. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 01:24, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Clone Trooper.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to

fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale
.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fastily (talk) 04:34, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Image source problem with Image:Thunderhead (charecter).png

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Thunderhead (charecter).png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on

. Thank you. (Just to let you know, self-made shots of a movie are not credited to the photographer, but rather the movie studio who owns the film.) Fastily (talk) 04:41, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Did you put a pic of Tatooine on the list of minor characters from StarWars page? Gregory E. Miller (talk) 16:54, 12 May 2008 (UTC))

Yeah, go ahead, it's not up to me to decide who gets to use what on my user page anyways.
