Amazon edit
Even though I wrote the paragraph you deleted here, I actually approve of your edit. That paragraph was written to placate the persons that are insisting that the Amazon is the longest river, something based primarily on one study done by Brazilians. I had kept insisting on verbiage that the Nile is the longest, since that's what virtually every geographic authority says today. Hi Syferus, no-one deleted your comment. There's a robot User: MiszaBot that takes threads which haven't changed in 90 days and puts them in the Archive. It did the same to your comment yesterday, I'm afraid, see [[1]] Mick gold (talk) 06:46, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
Ballyporeen
Re your comment on change to Balyporeen in which you said "(Please do not polute articles with bold text without even bothering to re-read what you're questioning" - There was a reference to Gemma Hayes' debut album which according to the article "was released to critical acclaim and was nominated for that year's Mercury Music Prize". I highlighted this because it does not state what year they are talking about. Could you not have politely have made your point without accusing me of polluting an article or not bothering to re-read something? I have now discovered that the missing year was 2002 and will amend Ballyporeen accordingly.Coolavokig (talk) 10:56, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
