South Texas College, Fall 2006 Enrollment 18,466 students. Located in Hidalgo and Starr Counties of Texas with 5 campuses: MidValley Campus in Weslaco, In McAllen TX: Tech Center at Ware and Military Highway, Pecan Campus at 29th and Pecan, Nursing and Allied Health Campus on Ridge Road, and our Starr County Campus located in Rio Grande City. SACS Accredited, Open Enrollment Institution. Founded in 1993 with a State Legislative Ammendement signed by Ann Richards, then Governor of Texas. We are a Hispanic Serving Institution, and a high growth institution. We have many student organizations on campus including WILD or Writers in Literary Discussion, and SIFE Students in Free Enterprise. Students are encouraged to start any new organizations in which they have an interest. One brand new student organization is the Vegan Club- for anyone interested in a vegan lifestyle. We are a dynamic part of the rapid changes happening in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. Only an hour and a half from South Padre Island, and a short 4 hour bus ride from Monterry Mexico.

THANK YOU, read it/ I am not paid to edit wikipedia, I did find a July 20th 2020 publication in Texas Border business, titled South Texas College to expand manufacturing robotics lab and unique training, factual entry is fine, but best foot forward is always an image concern, so while I do work there (conflict of interest) there are obviously zero to very few other editors at all on the college page. (very few likely) and I do not work as anything related to the people who represent the college to the public, so in statistics there is the reason the t distribution was published under "student" it doesn't matter sometimes ==
