Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to

talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:47, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply

Your most recent question

TD,

Here's the answer I was assembling to your most recent tank question on the ref desk:

To edit a previous question, find it on the page and click the "[edit]" link to the right of the header. I would suggest the following revisions to your conclusions:

February 2011

Please do not remove content without explanation, as you did at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Science --Guy Macon (talk) 12:53, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Science. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in you being blocked from editing. --Guy Macon (talk) 14:41, 1 February 2013 (UTC) Struck out; It did not occur to me that the deletions might be formatting errors. --Guy Macon (talk) 15:19, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply

Seems a bit harsh - I hardly think he's involved in a content dispute about your views on coffee or your right to post them at the reference desk.
Tank Designer, whatever you're using to edit is messing up formatting (and also removing a lot of other people's posts). You need to sort that out, and use Show Preview to check the format is correct, before you use Save Page to save the page.
Also, if you have any new questions about tanks, I suggest you start them with a different section title, like "Armour and anti-armour (part 2)" or "Armour and anti-armour (part 3)" and so on. --

Tank Designer, after reading your recent comment at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Science, I need to apologize for assuming that you had deleted content on purpose. I am sorry. --Guy Macon (talk) 15:27, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Was vandalizing my user page also an error? --Guy Macon (talk) 20:55, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 09:49, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
