Moving pages...

I see what you want to do with Thomas Christensen, but the way that you're going about it is not correct. You need to "move" the page. Just copying the text doesn't keep the page history as it needs to be kept. –RHolton– 14:51, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the terse message above, but I wanted to get your attention as quickly as I could. I'm going to delete Thomas Guldborg Christensen in preparation for the page move. I'll also revert your redirect changes to Thomas Christensen. Then I'll move Thomas Christensen to Thomas Guldborg Christensen, which automatically creates the redirect link. I know this is a bit confusion...but it's how things need to be done. In the future, you can simply move a page to the new name (see the "move" tab at the top of the page), unless there is already a page at the new name. –RHolton– 14:57, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No need to worry! I totally understand! I'm just new here, and I'm having some difficulties learning to adapt to your system. Is it possible for you to do the same with

Issey Nakajima should be redirected to Issey Nakajima-Farran
. But since both sites already exist, I can't move it myself.

VB lineup

The thing is, the "common" lineup projects what might happen in the future, and as the lineup might as well change tomorrow (or, in March), it becomes one person's point of view about who are the "strongest/most common" lineup. And unless that person is Kim Poulsen, it isn't notable enough to be on the page. However, something in the style of "VB's most commonly used players of the 2005-06 season" (like here) might build upon statistics and be verifiable. Poulsen 16:16, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Usernames

I'm surprised this didn't happen earlier, but your username is quite frankly unacceptable. Since you're clearly a genuine, sincere contributor, I'm going to point you to Wikipedia:Changing username, where you can post a request to have your username changed by a Bureaucrat (in which case, you'll have to post here to ask to be unblocked first).

Or, alternately, you can abandon this account and start over with a new one.

Third choice - you can get disgusted and walk away. Frankly, I hope you go with choice 1 or 2, but it's your choice. DS 03:11, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I will obey your order and change the name, eventhough I find it a bit odd, that you can't name yourself after a cartoon character (see

Milhouse). But I would like to be unblocked in order to change the name and keep my contributions. Milhouse Mussolini 21:13, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply

Done; you're unblocked. And it's not because of the reference to the van Houten lad, it's because of the reference to il Duce. DS 05:40, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
