I think my user page is a little too big and I want to shorten it by making those templates with the "show" and "hide" buttons but I have no clue how to do that? As the rules are clearly in my favor here, I'm going to keep the categories in the redirects until there is a concrete reason not to. What that line means is that only the relevant categories go on the main page, not unrelated ones. "Fictional characters with exta arms" would not fit well on the omnitrix mainpage, but it does on the Fourarms one. I started the redirects because I was sick of looking at categories like "Fictional characters would can move at superhuman speeds" and seeing "Omnitrix" listed under there. The omnitrix itself doesnt have that power, XLR8 does. The whole point of the no categories on redirects rule is to prevent it from flooding a certain category with similar pages. Since each alien form has different characteristics and powers, there's absolutley nothing wrong with what I'm doing.

And as for Benmummy not being a mummy and such. Are you saying Stinkfly isn't an insect? And Ghostfreak isn't a ghost? Who are you to make that distinction? Obviously they're all aliens, but they have other classifications too. Benwolf is a werewolf on the fact that the whole episode of him is centered around him repeatedly stated it, and the whole purple lightning story arc showed that all three aliens were modeled after horror movie icons. The Benvicktor one is the only one of those that has been disputed, but since he is a Frankenstine monster some people have decided that it's close enough to undead. I for one don't care enough about that one, since there's no "Fictional frankenstine monsters" category.

If you'd stop and look at your talk page, you'd see that plenty of people are pissed at you for several revisions and changes you've made without consulting anyone. If you feel strongly about something, bring it up and the talk page first before blindly reverting everything to your own personal liking. If you feel that cannonbolt's not an armadillo, then take out the catagory for fictional armadillos and leave it at that. But there's little debate one wether or not Upgrade is a technopath or that Fourarms has superhuman strength. What I don't understand is why you have a problem with that. You're acting like you're doing a good thing by removing all uneccesary categories, but what you're really doing is removing each and every one. So don't use the "Oh well, benmummy's not an actual mummy, so I guess XLR8 doesn't move at superhuman speeds either" excuse, because it doesn't make a lick of sense.

Now judging from your talk page it doesnt look like you're the type of person to give a shit what anyone other than yoursef thinks, so I'm going to help you out by starting a poll where everyone can have their fair say. After 5 days if everyone agrees with you then I'll personaly take down all the categories. But if they agree with me, then most likely what will happen is you'll continue to be too stubborn and you'll keep taking them off until an admin comes in and tells you to stop. Now, see, this is very your argument starts to get shakey. First you say that there shouldn't be any categories on any redirect pages period. Then when I ask you why you point out individual categories and the problems you have with them by themselves, which is an entirely different subject. It doesn't take you to a different page. When you click on the fourarms link, it brings you right up to the fourarms bio on the omnitrix page. If you scroll up you see that it's a redirect. So what's the confusion? If you click on the "Redirected from" link at the top you'd see that there's no seperate page for Fourarms. What you're saying is someone's going to be all "Wow, look at all these ficitonal characters with superhuman stength! Hey look at this one called Fouramrs. *click* WHAT THE HELL THIS IS SOME PAGE CALLED OMNITRIX WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING

ON OH GOD MY BRAIN!!!!!" and they'd fall out of their chair and die of shock. Is that what you think will happen? People will realize that not every character on that page falls under that category, and it's obvious why the cat was on the redirect.

As for your second argument, not all aliens have superhuman strength. Just look at Grey Matter. Adding "Fictional characters with superhuman strenght" to the Omnitrix page itself would not be appropriate. Now, if every alien on there did then I'd agree with you, but that's just not the case. So, let's just assume for now that all those categories apply to all those aliens, and that Benmummy counts as a mummy, ect. After this is all sorted out, we can discuss those issues seperatley.

Now, if I'm looking at the category "Fictional technopaths" and see "Upgrade (Ben 10)" I fail to see how even you could see a problem with that. Explain to me how that makes Wikipedia unencylopedic in some way.--Piemanmoo 00:24, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Look at this for a second. See how all of those cats at the bottom do not belong there? The Omnitrix is not a fictional fish. Ripjaws is. When someone is looking through the cat of Fictional fish they shouldn't see "omnitrix" they should see "Ripjaws". I can't believe you still dont get this. Okay, I don't know how many times I'm going to have to explain this to you, so just take your time and read what I say for once. And once you finish, re-read it again so you completley understad it. The Widget Armadillo argument is invalid because of the fact that there are no redirects to it. If the mascot itself was popular enough to warrant it's own redirect page then the category of fictional armadillos would go on it. But since you even said yourself that no redirects exist to the main page from the mascot, your whole argument in invalid. QED.

Now stop hiding behind faulty excuses and answer this simple question: 'Do you think that the Omnitrix should be counted as a fictional blind character, or a ficitonal character that can move at superhuman speeds? Or should Wildmutt and XLR8 be categorized as such? And don't pull that "oh, well technicaly wilmutt's not blind because he's not lacking eyesight he jus doesnt have any". For the sake of argument, all those categories would apply to the character's main page if they were notable enough to have their own. But what I'm saying is that it's much more encyclopedic to have the characters themselves be named on the category page. If I'm looking to make a list of fictional technopaths for some, I dunno, school project or something, I'd want to know exactly what character it is. Putting the categories on the redirect pages doesn't harm anything. I'll say it again, putting the categories on the redirect pages doesn't harm anything. It doesn't make wikipedia any less organized, and if anything all it does it keep it clearer. But I really don't expect you to suddenly realize this, as you're obviously too stubborn to admit that I've already handed you a plate full of your ass (with all the trimmings) numerous times already. What you need to realize is that when the categories dont fit the page, they're supposed to go on the redirects. I'm not going to say it anymore. Brody Mitchum is a fictional rapist and football player, not the list of heroes character page. Ma-Ti is an empath, not the list of planeteers page. Wildvine is a plant character, not the omnitrix. Boris is a fictional hacker, not the list of Goldeneye villans. Categories that dont fit on the page itself go on the redirects. Get that through your incredibely thick skull already. Whoever said anything about categorizng every single redirect? I'm just making categories more effective by adding relevant entries, redirects or articles. If you'll notice, all of the redirects I'm adding categories too have already had some on them long before me. That's still not a good enough reason to decatagorize redirects. Unless eplicitley stated, the rules say there is nothing wrong with it. That's what the majority of wikipedians have decided, and judging from your stubborness you dont care what others want, only what you do. I'm going to continue to categorize redirects and so will other people. According to the rules, if a category fits a redirect then by all means add it. Just look at the hundred of redirects with categories on them, and you'll see that you're the one in the minority here.

And quite Frankly, I'm sick of arguing with you because it's obvious you're just a child who wants everything his own way. Unlike you, I've actualy taken into consideration how others feel on this subject, and have created a poll on it. I propose we let them do the talking for a while, because if I cant talk some sense into you then maybe they can. So STFU for once and listen to other people's thoughs on the omnitrix talk page. You can voice your opinion on there too, but try not to harrass everyone on there, which I bet you'll eventualy do.

That person is new and it took and arm and a leg to get him to even go to the Village Pump. He is very frustrating and my post was there to show what the proper ettiquette is for actions and what he should be doing (as per the RFC statement). It was also there to defend my own character and to emphasize the need to get rid of personal interest (user:Lode Runner shows that he came in there with a bias) when coming to such a place and that you need to step back to get a response, not post three or four times for each post someone else makes.
