This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Greymatter, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.gingerbeer.co.uk/listing.php?ListingID=896&CategoryID=14&PHPSESSID=83664d0f720e33d6d346. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on

section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright
infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Just FYI, I left a reply on the talk page. Yngvarr (c) 23:51, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - I've just got Georgey of Greymatter to put a statement on the Greymatter talk page about giving license to use the copy. Do I need to give an email address as well? She can be contacted at [email protected]

Thanks

I've replied on my talk page. Yngvarr (c) 16:15, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{

adminhelp
}} Hi, where I work I've been approached by a senior colleague about their BLP. Having looked at it, it feels like it has a negative bias and unsourced comments backing up the negative bias. I don't want to delete the material or mention the person publicly because I'm concerned that this may worsen the situation. How should I proceed? Thanks.

What you should do is:
  • Read
    WP:BLP/H
and advise your colleague to read it
  • Post about it at
    WP:BLP/N
, the Biographies of Living Persons noticeboard, where it will get attention from people with experience in this area.

(edit conflict)

Either you, or the subject, should email - see

Yes, I was about to add that if you like you could email me the name (via "Email this user" on the left side of my talk page), but Chzz' suggestion is a good one. JohnCD (talk) 13:52, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you both!

Your email has a problem

I tried just now to email you (though only to apologise for delay and say I would give a real reply tomorrow), but the email was rejected with the message:

"Your message to <address redacted> was automatically rejected:
Quota exceeded (mailbox for user is full)"

That will also impede any reply from OTRS if you have emailed them. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 22:49, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Tried again with a fuller reply - same result. JohnCD (talk) 23:18, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
have updated my preferences with a different email address and emailed you (btw - should I reply on your page or here when talking like this?) --kiden (talk) 16:15, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Email sent again. Reply here - I will watch this page, and that will keep the conversation all in one place. JohnCD (talk) 17:43, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid no-one has picked it up yet - maybe overshadowed by some rather more inflammatory issues further down the page. I have not forgotten it, and if nobody else does anything in a couple of days I will have a go myself, though it is not really my forte. JohnCD (talk) 22:36, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you - I really appreciate all your help. --kiden (talk) 13:07, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
