Cheers Ssven2. Sadly the commons coverage after 1975 isn't great, but I should be able to claim the Italian ones up until 1995 I think as it's 20 years. I'll upload a few as I progress I think. It'll give me a good chance to see more Italian films from 70s-90s period too. The list will will definitely look better once there is five images for each year. I prefer screenshots as much as possible of course. I do think it's about time somebody contacted the film companies and request them to allow images of their films on wikipedia. They've nothing to lose really, in fact more chance people are going to buy the DVD if there's some pretty screenshots on here. I might try contacting a few of them. Worth a try. Obviously this will look better when I've seen nearer 100 films from each year and make the images look less cluttered, but that's a long way off haha! Tibetan Prayer ᧾ 17:59, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Sorry about the image removal but I think unless they're really screenshots or something which strongly stands in for the film it looks a bit amateurish. That goes for the articles too! We badly need decent images of films post 70s. Unfortunately the Italian screenshot licensing isn't as simple as I thought, as it has to be twenty years after release and comply with 1996 in the US so that seems to eliminate most after 1975. I'll restore some of the images if we can balance them out with some decent ones and make each one complete! For the images to look OK though I think there really needs to be nearer 50 films for the year, and I've just not seen enough from 1980s-2000s period yet!Tibetan Prayer ᧾ 19:12, 24 March 2016 (UTC)
