Maybe the real reason is that titles such as Featured Article Director and Milhist Co-ordinator arise from big projects. To be frank, WP:WPChi doesn't reach those heights yet, though maybe it will one day. Meanwhile, it is perfectly possible to lead, co-ordinate and encourage others without awarding titles to yourself. "I delared myself director of the project" (which has a typo) is not the best way to start off something like that. Better is to ask those you are working with on the project if they are happy for titles like that to be used. But better still, is just to carry on with doing the work - there is a lot of it to do!
