I've moved the javascript file you put in mainspace to your userspace. In order to do this I've had to change its name slightly to -js rather than .js as no other editor can create javascript in your user area. Please be careful what you put in the mainspace. Happy editing,

I've not used any myself. The only ones I've come across are documented at Template:Ahnentafel/doc in which ancestors are assigned numbers starting with the key person at 1. For a person n, his/her father is 2n and mother 2n+1.
The code: {{ahnentafel |collapsed=yes |align=center |1=You |2=Your dad |3=Your mum |4=His dad |5=His mum |6=Her dad |7=Her mum }} produces...
