Hi. It is almost ready to move up, but not quite, I think. See this, for ideas on how to expand it: Wikipedia:WikiProject Musical Theatre/Article Structure. See also Hair (musical), for ideas. There is very little information about the musical itself. What types of music are used? What kind of band accompanied it? The plot summary should name the principal musical numbers as it goes, as described in the link above. The critical reaction section only discusses two reviews. There should be a couple more discussed, and they should not all be positive. Also, there should be a very brief discussion of the reviews off-Broadway, or else we should remove the statement that they were positive. What happened at the box office? Why did it close so soon? There should be a mention that In the Heights (as well as strong revivals of South Pacific and Gypsy) took most of the Tony Awards. There must be lots of published articles that describe this show. Obviously, you don't need to do all of this to get to C-class, I think just a little bit more high-quality stuff and references will push it over into C-class. Wow, thanks for writing to me about your uncle! That is just about the coolest thing that's happened to me on Wikipedia... talking to someone who is connected to a person I wrote about. :)
I chose to write about him because he really is so important to Chicano art history and scholarship on that topic is sorely under-represented on Wikipedia. He seems like he was a very driven person... I love his cross-country trip to interview Mexican-American artists. It showed amazing dedication.
I'd love to see anything you'd care to send my way and the photos would be most welcome. If you have copyright to them, it's a snap to add.

- Good! You made my day too. :) Seriously--I was so pleased to see your article. He does deserve to be on Wikipedia, for all the reasons you list here. I'm an editor too and I uploaded a photo I took of him in 2001--it's on the article--it's of him in Jerome during a reunion we all went to. He was an incredibly focused, intelligent, funny, endearing person--plus he was very kind--an unusual blend of personality traits. And he was the only academic in the family--all of his own doing. A remarkable fellow. I have the hard copy of Archives of American Art Journal and I'll look through some of his books for more information on his studies. Hi, I see and appreciate most of your edits. But please collaborate. Simply reverting my edit to remove material you did not like in the lead ended up having the effect of restoring two unnecessary tags. The refimprove tag was simply ianappropriate given I went through the article and as is preferred, tagged the specific claims that needed support. Also, your reversion ended up restoring a "page needs improvement" tag to a section, not a whole page, which was again tagged individually. I am going to go back and re tag the article, and remove the section tags.

After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages.
