Why are you editing Barry Marder and Ted L Nancy pages? Do we need our attorney to explain what the Barry Marder and Ted L Nancy wikipedia should contain? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mtamony (talk • contribs) 16:22, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
- Hello. Your attorney does not decide what should be on Wikipedia, Wikipedical (talk) 17:53, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
- Why are you editing these pages? Bruce Baum did not author some of the books you have listed. You are incorrectly editing pages. Mtamony —Preceding undated comment added 18:51, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
- Why do you continue to edit these pages? You have edited Barry Marder page as well as Ted L Nancy page? We can update the content and create better citations, but why just redirect it? Mtamony
Non-free rationale for File:ScroogeFirst.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Your recent PRODs
You are prodding too many articles in too short a space of time. Not only are you creating a lot of work for other editors you are clearly not spending enough time looking at these articles and considering alternatives to deletion before tagging them. Some of the articles you tagged are clearly not suitable for proposed deletion, which is only for uncontroversial deletion candidates. --Michig (talk) 05:57, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
- Having reviewed some of the Prods, I agree with Michig's comment, and feel the need to emphasize that Prods have only ever meant to be used for uncontroversial deletions. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 03:23, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

Sky Italia channel line up Afd
Hi Wikipedical, I appreciate you reaching out to me. I am a brand new "editor" at Wikipedia and I am still unsure how to use this interface, it is a bit bewildering, however I have join in on commenting because they did delete Sky Italia channel page which I still need for work. I am very upset about that. How can we make sure that useful items are recognized as useful even if they piss people off? I am going to try and comment to keep most of the pages but this really is frustrating.Lanaii7 (talk) 16:26, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for specifying which article you meant; a db-repost is useless for a mass AFD without a link and without anything clear in the text of the page. The difference between the two is that User:2679D/List of StarHub TV and mio TV channels was created after the deletion discussion, while Polo's sandbox wasn't. The deletion of a page with certain content definitely doesn't mean that we automatically delete the same content in other previously-existing pages that weren't part of the discussion; sometimes the deletion reason is applicable in both situations (e.g. copyvios), but it's not here. Imagine if User:Nyttend/Ohio NRHP/Pickaway were in mainspace: it's definitely not encyclopedic, and it would deserve to be deleted, but it's fine in userspace because it helps me to coordinate tasks unobtrusively, and it therefore wouldn't be deleted just because the mainspace page was. Nyttend (talk) 02:49, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
- Nor is this sandbox. As I keep telling you, the sandbox existed three years before the mainspace page was deleted, and as such it is not a repost. You're free to nominate it for ) 02:56, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

SNL
The template is totally confusing for many wikipedians and other viewers. Please let us change to the way it was. --AmazingRaceClub talk • edits —Preceding undated comment added 23:06, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
Re: SNL
However, the things you named are TV shows. There is a difference as in the TV shows this template is used to describe what happened in an episode. In this case, it does not work with SNL as SNL has notes, not episode desription. It was better the other way as right next to the episode the notes were given as what the special guests were, etc. Putting it one next to each other makes it more confusing then putting it one under another in this white table instead of this. Either way SNL 38 and 37 are the only ones that have the new layout so. It is better to keep it the way it has been for years. --AmazingRaceClub talk • edits —Preceding undated comment added 23:06, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi Wikipedical. I appreciate more eyes on the Talk:The_Sword_of_Shannara#Sources_for_claims_in_the_plot_summaries question. But I'm a bit uncertain on which way your comment is intended to go, relative to the two opinions that were stated immediately preceding your comment.

At any rate, a clarification of your comment would be much appreciated. - Thanks for puttung your thoughts into the discussion. Since it has no source whatsovever, as you point out, the primary source ought to be cited with page number(s) etc, which you also indicated you agreed with.
- That, to me, would indicate that the {citation needed} tags should have stayed, and not be removed by The Ed17, during the course of the discussion. That is my only argument. Then the in good faith.
- I don't agree that citationneeded tags are necessary nor appropriate. As I said at the discussion, while it is preferable to have inline citations, the absence of them in a plot summary section implies the section content's source is the primary source itself, like Wikipedical (talk) 13:21, 16 January 2013 (UTC)

Alright, I am prepared to make a compramise or a an agreement with you. I would like for you to stop doing large scale edits to the page, which could end in us both being blocked from editing, which nobody wants, and I believe these are reasonable suggestions.
- You can organize the page you have been organizing it. It is much more informative this way.
- The colored boxes should not be colored. It does not make much sense.
- The boxes that were colored should be kept, though should not be colored like they previously were. This allows for more information storage.
- Do not remove ratings, ratings are information just like everything else here. If you say there is no reason to keep it, that brings the question into mind: What reason is there to delete it? Plus, it is not our job to say it is not useful. Someone out there will probably find some use for it.
- Keep unaired programming noted, as they were scheduled to air but did not. I would suggest moving it into it's own section.
- Keep all information from the previous article. If it does not have a scource, I will try my hardest to find it, as I am certain they are not lies.
- Keep the expired/finished section. Expired programming should belong in the past programming section, as it is accquired programming they do not have the rights to any longer. Finished programming, on the other hand, they still have the rights to broadcast.
Then again, I do not have the authority to make such edits without any sort of permission, and neither do you (not trying to be disrespectful). Many users agree with this statement, but that does not necessarily mean they disagree with your decisions, and another has agreed with me that you should check the talk page first for discussion. For now, I would recommend you not change anything until you start a discussion at the talk page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.121.222.242 (talk) 20:44, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
