Vandalism warning templates

I see you've already familiarized yourself with the

vandalism warning templates. You might want to start with a level 1 warning for new cases of vandalism.[1] Not every administrator follows the same protocol, when it comes to vandalism, and some will deny AIV cases on the basis that they were warning insufficiently. Only cases that are of the more egregious vandalism will be addressed, despite the warning level. An example of this is the IP you reported that was vandalizing with racist, and homophobic remarks. Stop

Seriously, you don't need to leave a level 4 warning every time they vandal. One is sufficient. Boomer VialHappy Holidays!Contribs 00:37, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks for the input, I will know next time something like this happens. Win98fan (talk) 00:38, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Once again

It is enough to start with level 1 warnings, please do not insert a level 3 warning at the beginning.[2] --Killarnee (T12) 01:00, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Gacy

Hope my edit meets approval. Gacy's actual act/method of restraining his victim is one thing for which he is infamous. Shouldn't be consigned to a notes section. Best regards, --Kieronoldham (talk) 02:11, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for reverting if your addition was correct. It seemed suspicious but I am not an expert on the subject. I won't revert it again.Win98fan (talk) 03:00, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing to apologize for. I respect your diligence. Only delve into this topic matter if you can psychologically surmount the hurdle (which the vast majority cannot). I'm being serious there. Wiki. is an uphill battle to be seen as a trusted and reputable source. Regards, and kudos.--Kieronoldham (talk) 03:07, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Re: TSM

Hello Win98fan, I am responding to your message on my talk page. I removed that part of the TSM page because those players are no longer part of the organisation As of April 11. MrCheese76 (talk) 04:18, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay thanks! I won't revert again. Win98fan (talk) 14:06, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Vandalism"?

So, you deny the dictionaries authority over Wikipedia?

Daniel and Alexander

I keep asking if there is more than 1 Greek king that conquered Persia and upon his death his kingdom was split into 4 smaller and less powerful kingdoms! So far no one has an answer! Would you like to take a shot at an answer? ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

To put in simple language for you - a similar situation would be - one person mentions the first president of the United States. I state that this first president refers to George Washington. Then my clarification gets deleted for being unsourced. Is there another first president of the US?71.174.129.190 (talk) 02:13, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

what is not vandalism for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 04:04, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply

Thanks for the input. I was focusing more so on the aggressive edit summary than the contents of the edit itself, which as you say wasn't vandalism. Sorry! Win98fan (talk) 01:02, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page

Hello, a user who was apparently highly satisfied with a warning you gave him left a message on your main user page User:Win98fan, apparently mistaking it for your user talk page. I've blanked the edit so that uninvolved users don't think that the comment came from you. If you want, feel free to add {{db-user}} to the page, or if I'm way off base and you wanted to retain that content, feel free to revert my edit. Thanks, —KuyaBriBriTalk 14:01, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I submitted my user page for deletion. Win98fan (talk) 18:52, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
