Userboxes

The new

PADI and CMAS userboxes I created are at {{PADI_Diver}} and {{CMAS_Diver}}. If you choose to use the new ones instead of the first drafts of these userboxes, your user page will automatically be placed into the following categories: Category:PADI divers and Category:CMAS divers - Gr0ff 20:36, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply

Oh thank you very much and I think you should replace the old ones on

WP:SCUBA page. What about NAUI, SSI and TDI? And, hmm I like that new ones. :) Good job. Yegor Chernyshev 20:38, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply

It looks like someone already started a little article for
SDI. I'll add a logo and some references so it doesn't get deleted.

Cool. Thank you for that. But I'm not a specialist of TDI and also I'm short in time, so I'll expand the article as much as much time I have. --Yegor Chernyshev 23:58, 17 October 2007 (UTC)<[reply]

Diving-Agency Userboxes

I added the userboxes you posted on the

discussion page as templates. See the discussion page for their locations. I also added categories for each of them. Now if anyone uses them, they will automatically be added to Category:BSAC divers, Category:IDF divers, Category:IANTD divers, Category:SDI divers and Category:TDI divers.

WP:SCUBA
Newsletter Issue #1

Welcome
Since this is the first issue of the

WP:SCUBA expands, so will our editing power through collaboration. Please feel free to invite other interested Wikipedians
to join our project.

Categorization of

WP:SCUBA
Articles
I believe that we need to adopt a categorization system to begin organizing these articles. Some categories exist, such as
this page
and let me know what you think.

Article rating for

WP:SCUBA

As you are hopefully aware, we place the {{
WP:SCUBA as we currently do not rate our articles. This will help us identify the most important articles to our cause, and easily see which articles need the most work. Please feel free to post any questions on my talk page
.

YMCA SCUBA
It has been my personal goal to start creating articles to cover all of the major scuba diver certification agencies, and categorize them as Category:Diver training agency. On the List of diver training organizations YMCA SCUBA links to YMCA (diving organization), which then redirects to YMCA. The problem is that the YMCA article doesn't discuss their recreational diving program anywhere. I would like to start a separate YMCA Scuba article using the information on their Official Site, and fix the redirect at YMCA (diving organization) to point to the new article. I invite you to post your thoughts and opinions on these actions on my talk page.

Image without license

Unspecified source for Image:Sviridov.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Sviridov.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{

Wikipedia:Image copyright tags
for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on

48 hours after 03:21, 28 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 03:21, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply

WP:RUSSIA roll call and your input required

Privet. You are receiving this message as you were listed on the membership list of

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The

Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:02, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply
