Edit summary

Not sure if necessary. Why the Publicity? :D — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yuvipanda (talkcontribs)
Not exactly publicity, but a standard practice on wiki while using tools, so that anyone who finds an issue made by the tool, doesnt judge the user, instead logs a bug here :) Srikanth (Logic) 05:38, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes yuvi please include the link soon, as i dont want other wiki editors for blaiming me of vandalism such as these [1] -- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 08:12, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
DoneAdded :) (On another note, am n00b regarding on wiki policies. Please alert me if I'm not following any of them. Thanks!) YuviPanda (talk) 17:03, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Default

DoneFixed in most cases. Let me know if this happens again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yuvipanda (talkcontribs)
Unable to verify this - works for me. It saves it, but is unable to read it. Both this and previous one is essentially the reading code being buggy. Have been fixed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yuvipanda (talkcontribs)
  • Hello Yuvi, really nice tool. Thanks a lot for making it ease for all of us. Need your help, I don't see options to add/change the importance of existing daughter/sub projects ? -- ɑηsuмaη ʈ ᶏ ɭ Ϟ 08:26, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, there is option to change the importance of daughter projects (if the importance already mentioned) but not to add. -- ɑηsuмaη ʈ ᶏ ɭ Ϟ 11:08, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Don't you see a 'Add New Subproject' button that will let you add da new sub projecet? Yuvi (talk) 19:29, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orissa

  • Thanks for the tool first. Has teh Orissa Subproject implemented yet ? I dont get an option for orissa , but I do get 1 for Odisha (which for some reasons does not show after assessing). I guess as of now the orissa in the WP INDIA template has not been renamed as odisha, Please clarify how to handle Orissa/odisha. Regards-- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 13:00, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Changing Odisha to Orissa should solve the problem which I 've mentioned earlier, didn't notice before. -- ɑηsuмaη ʈ ᶏ ɭ Ϟ 15:58, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done Has been fixed. Thanks! Yuvi (talk) 19:29, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • BUG Any idea why the banner shell template was broken here [2]-- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 21:19, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Come on, that needed just parenthesis. -- ɑηsuмaη ʈ ᶏ ɭ Ϟ 21:37, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
what i mean by pointing out is, somehow the toolbar removed the terminating parenthesis, and broke the template. -- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 07:40, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ya you were right, sorry. -- ɑηsuмaη ʈ ᶏ ɭ Ϟ 11:08, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, that's a bad bug. Looking at them later tonight YuviPanda (talk) 17:09, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sesamevoila (talk) 06:26, 9 April 2012 (UTC) Problem solved, I pasted the code again, and it works:-)Sesamevoila (talk) 06:38, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

History

  • History and History. Some how i am seeing two history subcategories, instead of one, why ? besides it would be helpful if we can also include the |pre=yes|parameter for pre independence history articles-- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 07:40, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
DoneFixed. Added a checkbox for 'pre'. Thanks! YuviPanda (talk) 17:03, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hello Yuvi, I was busy assessing the articles with your tool when it suddenly re-directed me to Google Search where there is no WikiIndia tag and hence the tool doesn't show up.Fix this?. But without it, it is cool and fast!. Regards Srikar Kashyap (talk) 02:43, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Yuvi , The Assessment bar doesn't worked for me . I followed your instructions and saved the page as : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Gauravpruthi/common.js But no assessment bar appeared while I tried assessing WikiProject India articles using the toolbar.

Gaurav Pruthi 13:03, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

  • Hello Gaurav, the code on your common.js page should look like this. Notice the color difference ? the code should not be in one line. If you can't fix it, ask an admin to fix it. -- ɑηsuмaη ʈ ᶏ ɭ Ϟ 13:55, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion

Please consider adding a keyboard shortcut for adding new subcategories once a subcategory has been added. as of now for adding 5 subcategores i have to switch 10times from mouse to keyboard and vice versa, thanks, regards -- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 08:58, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Keyboard shortcuts are something I've generally wanted to add. Will do next time I get some breathing space! YuviPanda (talk) 18:49, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request to not trim text to lowercase for another project

I've been testing out your tool and trying to get it to work with another project (WikiProject Articles for creation). Most things seem to be working, but one issue I have run into is that it changes the case of parameters in the template to lower case, in particular, AFC uses a reviewer= parameter followed by the username of the reviewer, and its changing the reviewer's name to lowercase. I've copied the .js to try to fix it, and I think I have [7] gotten it to stop doing it. Would it be possible to change the original script to avoid a fork? (My skill with javascript is limited, so I don't know if the change will cause any unintended consequences, though I don't see any) Also, thought I should mention its a great tool and I'm glad you made it. category load

Hi Yuvi, the unassessed category is completed - is there a way to load the unknown importance category. Currently the next button takes articles that are previously assessed. Ssriram mt (talk) 11:38, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Heya! This has been done now. Once you clear cache and try again, next importance should load one from . YuviPanda (talk) 17:58, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Think it is still loading assessed articles - i did clear the cache and tested with a restart. Can you please have a look. Ssriram mt (talk) 18:15, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Assessment bar

Hi Yuvi, the assessment bar seems to have disappeared. Is it because there are no more articles under the unassessed category? Ssriram mt (talk) 00:14, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yes please bring it back and working, as i would prefer to use this bar full time whenver i come accross unassessd Indian articles. thanks--DℬigXray 14:38, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment Bar is Back

The Assesment Bar has re-appeared for me as mysteriously as it disappeared:-)Sesamevoila (talk) 11:30, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well It did not mysteriously appeared. Yuvi had fixed it. He had informed me on my talk page.--DBigXray 12:32, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I thought as much...it's quite a boon to making speedy assessments...now I'll have to use it and revisit some of the assessments I did after it broke down at the fag end of the drive Sesamevoila (talk) 12:43, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah that would be much appreciated. Even I wanted to use it for the future assessments for WP India articles and re-assing the old assesments. I find a lot of articles in which the relevant subcategories (eg railway, education, states etc etc) were missing, It will be easier for me to address those problems now--DBigXray 12:50, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unable to add subcategories with Assessment Bar
