From what I read on your talk page you are a very interesting person to me, I'm not "in to" that kind of stuff, but you're just an intriguing person. If you care to I would like you to e-mail me, and just tell me about your life, if you don't want to that's fine. Private Butcher 22:04, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
- Well, I read some of your LiveJournal thing, and some other things it links to. But can I atleast ask just some general questions, like an interview of sorts, because I've decided to do this with many different types of people. I wish to learn general things about them, how they are in person, act, feel, etc. Just things, if you would do this for me I would thank you, because I'm just trying to research humankind. Minor edits
Hi Zoe, welcome again to WP! (Saw your note on the new user log.) It seems like you've got the hang of it pretty quickly. It took me months and months to have anything more than a couple of bare links on my userpage. :) Re: "stuff you'll probably not like, too"... I don't know if you've had a bad experience on WP, but in my experience most people here are pretty openminded. Don't forget Wikipedia:Assume good faith. :) Finally, I noticed that you're marking all your edits as "minor". This is not generally a good idea. From

- No worries. I think if you go to Preferences > Editing, there is an option that says "Mark all edits minor by default." pfctdayelise 06:19, 7 November 2005 (UTC)
Weasel terms
"Weasel terms" are terms that make a statement and give no source (such as "People say..." or "It is thought...") See the Wikipedia style guideline for more info:

EVP
Hi Zoe.r.....User:Martinph, User:Perfectblue, and I have negotiated an agreement on the following opening for the article. We hope to get your endorsement in order to form a consensus.
- Electronic voice phenomena (EVP) is a term coined by Colin Smyth to describe speech or speech-like sounds of paranormal origin occurring on previously unused recording media. It was first reported by Raymond Bayless and popularized by Konstantin Raudive.[1][2][3] As with all paranormal phenomena, the existense of EVP is disputed. Some say that the sounds thought to be EVP are caused by psychokinesis or the voices of spirits, but others say they can be explained by such things as pareidolia or radio signals. [4]
- According to researcher Alexander MacRae, EVP is defined as any anomalous voices captured on any form of audio recording[5][6] [2] that are discovered upon playback, but were not detected at the time that the recording was made, and which do not appear to originate from any local source.[3] EVP are typically brief, the length of a word or short phrase, though longer examples are also claimed.[7] They are normally in a language understood by those present at the time of recording.[2]

Disambiguation link notification for July 15
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Roland (game character), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Durell. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
