Vinicio Salmi (born 3 July 1956) is an Italian former

racing driver from Ferrara.[1][2]

Salmi competed in the 1977 250cc motorcycle road racing world championship on a Yamaha.[3] His best result was a fourth-place finish at the 1977 250cc German Grand Prix held at the Hockenheimring circuit.[3]

He competed in the

Road America
and he scored no championship points. Little has been heard of him after his CART experience.
