Voss is an
History
Founded in 1904 as the headquarters of the Leaday Ranch in Coleman County, Voss was named after William G. Voss, a ranch superintendent, who had petitioned for a post office to serve the area.
Education
Voss is served by the Panther Creek Consolidated Independent School District.
Climate
The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen climate classification, Voss has a humid subtropical climate, Cfa on climate maps.[5]
