Waihāhā is a village and rural community in the

Taupō District and Waikato region of New Zealand's North Island.[1]

The New Zealand Ministry for Culture and Heritage gives a translation of "noisy water" for Waihāhā.[2]

The suburb has two

Te Ihingarangi.[3][4]

Waihāhā is part of the Lake Taupo Bays statistical area.[5]
