The Most Venerable Wewaldeniye Medhalankara Thero (
Ramanna Nikaya and the chief incumbent of the Shasanawardhana Pirivena, Mirigama.[1] Following his demise, he was succeeded by Most Ven. Napane Pemasiri Thero as the Maha Nayaka of Ramanna Nikaya.[2]
