Not enough happened in television this early in the game to warrant a list. Deprodded by IP without comment. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 22:13, 29 May 2022 (UTC)

Keep. There are five highly significant events (two more than 1926's list), plus renowned films like Charlie Chaplin's The Gold Rush and Harold Lloyd's The Freshman. Clarityfiend (talk) 22:45, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- Wait a sec. Must have gotten the films from 1925 in film. Has anybody seen my marbles? I lost them around here somewhere. Clarityfiend (talk) 04:30, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
- Keep, "Not enough happened in television this early in the game to warrant a list." is opinion and not policy based. WP:JUSTDONTLIKEIT is not a reason for deletion. DonaldD23 talk to me 23:36, 29 May 2022 (UTC)]
- So WP:V are no longer policies either? Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 23:39, 29 May 2022 (UTC)]
- You aren't proposing to delete the list based on that. You're rationale just said that not enough happened. So, this deletion request is invalid. DonaldD23 talk to me 23:46, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- So
- Keep No valid reason given for deletion. Plenty of things are on the list. The list is a valid information and navigational list. Dream Focus 14:20, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
- How about some sources, hmm? Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 18:07, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Notability#Stand-alone_lists Lists that fulfill recognized informational, navigation, or development purposes often are kept regardless of any demonstrated notability. Dream Focus 18:22, 30 May 2022 (UTC)

- Delete an article mainly listing people who were born in a year who became important to something much later on does not really have much of a point. Television did not exist as a broadcast media in 1925. The stuff about early background developments can be better covered in an article about the development of television.John Pack Lambert (talk) 15:08, 31 May 2022 (UTC)
- Delete Lacks sources supporting that WP:NLIST is met. The list of births is not significant and the rest of the article is a fork of History of television. MrsSnoozyTurtle 09:00, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
- Comment This article is deleted/redirect does that mean Before 1925 in television should be moved?★Trekker (talk) 12:42, 5 June 2022 (UTC)

- Keep Small articles are still articles; nomination offers no policy-based reason for deletion, as pointed out above.
- Comment this is difficult, "television" wasn't really a thing until WW2 and after, but there were mechanical televisions before this. Seem to have sources for most of the statements. Best would be to redirect to an article on the history of television. Oaktree b (talk) 01:04, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
