- Strong keep per the standard practice of having articles for recent FCS seasons. Lepricavark (talk) 13:39, 17 February 2020 (UTC)]

- But that's not why this was nominated and it's also standard practice to create season articles before the season begins. I don't think there's any reason to believe that this particular season won't take place. Lepricavark (talk) 14:52, 17 February 2020 (UTC)]

- Strong keep – verifiable sources every week, due to its place as Division I college football team. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 16:01, 17 February 2020 (UTC)]

- (edit conflict) @Willbb234: Here is Tarleton State's 2019 schedule, game-by-game on ESPN. Their season-opening upset over FCS Stephen F. Austin last season was covered in USA Today and the Tyler Morning Telegraph. They are also covered in the Stephenville Empire-Tribune - from a quick glance, I found articles detailing games (here, here, here, here, and here), articles detailing signing classes (here), rankings (here, here, here, and here), with an article detailing their upcoming 2020 schedule having been published more recently. Dave Campbell's Texas Football did an article about their win against West Texas A&M. Keep in mind that all of this is while they were a Division II team; the prevalence and quality of these sources will only increase when they begin play at the Division I level in the fall. - Speedy Keep Division I NCAA seasons are notable due to the large amount of coverage they get. A team's first season at this level is even more so. Complete waste of time for everyone involved, let's just close this now rather than waste a week of everyone's time dealing with this garbage again. Smartyllama (talk) 20:30, 17 February 2020 (UTC)

- Speedy keep agree, clear pass of WP:RS about the season.--Paul McDonald (talk) 02:29, 19 February 2020 (UTC)]
- Keep Per above. It is not TOOSOON, though I would prefer we have an article on the football program before individual seasons. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 17:06, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
- Keep per all above. Ejgreen77 (talk) 07:08, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
