  WP:BASIC and the sources in the article. In addition, there's a widely referenced Sports Illustrated for Women article about her and she appears to have an entry in the Encyclopedia of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender History in America (Schribner; v.3; p.146), but I can't find the text for either of these on-line.
