Delete: NN hockey player with such an unheralded and ephemeral career in the low minors forty years ago, that I wonder if there was a COI involved: I note that the subject is listed as being a "legal advisor," something that's of course in neither of the hockey stat sources presented. Delete While I still endorse deletion this one is not as cut and dry as I would like it to be. He does fall just three games short of Criterion 2 as a goaltender, though for some reason the IHL is not listed as one of the accepted leagues for that level, probably just an oversight as it was a comparable league to the AHL when it was in operation and we've used it in the past to confirm players. No oversight at all. The IHL was not a comparable league to the AHL in the mid-70s, not close; many of its teams and players were still just this side of semi-pro. The year LePage played his most games in the I, the only player on his team who ever saw significant NHL action was Hector Marini, and the only player in the league leaders who'd be familiar to the average hockey fan you'd never recognize if he hadn't had a certain gig in the winter of 1980, and he got that gig because the IIHF didn't think at the time that playing in the IHL jeopardized a player's amateur status.
