- I don't know if it's enough for GNG, David, but there is some media coverage in the Swedish press, in connection with his role as the rabbi of Stockholm's main synagogue. See e.g. here -- Y not? 14:54, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
- Keep- His founding of RIKMA was a major event (regardless of what you think of the organization) and he has been involved in politics. - http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/features/the-rabbi-the-gay-and-the-arab-await-the-judge-1.27470 and http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/features/for-conservative-movement-new-guard-it-s-all-about-community-1.142489--Jayrav (talk) 16:34, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
- Comment. Some older sources, from HighBeam Research, include "Arab, Gay, Rabbi Blocked From Jerusalem City Council" (The Forward, 2002); "Rabbi May Meet With Lesbian Inmates" (The Forward, 2003); "Conservative rabbi: I'm being punished for same-sex weddings. David Lazar says his movement is discriminating against him", (Jerusalem Post, 2006). --Arxiloxos (talk) 17:32, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

- Keep: meets the GNG for the repeated coverage on his rabbinate in Stockholm (especially appointment and dismissal), in addition to the sources mentioned above. See nrg Maariv, Times of Israel, Haaretz, etc. הסרפד (call me Hasirpad) 23:45, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
