The result was merge to Josephus. The extent to which there is encyclopedic, non-redundant content can be determined during the merge process (and if there is none, this can be redirected outright). @333-blue: There was no need to relist this. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 15:58, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notability is

WP:NOTINHERITED. None of the articles say anything notable about Josephus's sons that isn't either trivial (i.e. name etymologies), or simply relating to the life or ancestry of Josephus himself. Hemiauchenia (talk) 17:41, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply

  • Delete or Merge to Josephus without leaving redirects. Normally I would suggest leaving redirects, but it seems unlikely that anybody will search for the sons of Josephus without visiting that article. As far as I can tell, none of them seem to have done anything of historical significance, and according to these three articles virtually nothing is known of them except their existence and relationships to other persons—all of whom should be mentioned under Josephus. There is a little speculation about their names—but that could reasonably be included in the section about Josephus' family. The only incoming links, besides a redirect or two from alternative forms of their names and various user pages, are from each other, Josephus, and Flavia gens, so I see no particular reason to believe that users would expect to find articles about them. • Merge per Aculeius, but I think keeping redirects would be fine.★Trekker (talk) 12:33, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Redirect all to Josephus. For people who lived 2000 years ago, notability is often inherited. Here we know the names of three sons of Josephus and nothing else. Everything else is trivia or information on Josephus. The names of the sons can be listed in the target article. And since they are already listed there, a merge is unjustified. gidonb (talk) 15:49, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
