Questionably notable and improvable music article as the best I found was this, this, this and this. Pinging past editors Sogospelman, Eliz81 and Musdan77 and also users interested with this topic Michig, The Cross Bearer and Walter Görlitz. SwisterTwister talk 21:00, 30 October 2015 (UTC)

- Keep: This group fronted by Karen Peck is clearly notable for inclusion, with regards to GMA Dove Awards three times searching for Karen Peck. They have got three reviews from Cross Rhythms, here, here, and here, and two reviews from New Release Today, here and here. The Cross Bearer (talk) 00:47, 31 October 2015 (UTC)]
- Weak Keep - http://www.musictimes.com/articles/12746/20141018/karen-peck-new-river-2014-fall-tour-dates-full-schedule.htm won the Southern Gospel Song of the Year at the 2014 Dove Awards for "Revival". Fringe category and without substantial press. No AllMusic reviews: http://www.allmusic.com/artist/karen-peck-amp-new-river-mn0000356418 Nothing at Jesus Freak Hideout, http://jesusfreakhideout.com/artists/default.asp?STARTLETTER=K, but Southern Gospel isn't their thing. Cross Rhytms is a UK magazine and they dabble in a wider range of Christian music> they have a short news item: http://www.crossrhythms.co.uk/articles/news/Change_Of_Career/56703/p1/ and an artist entry with three staff reviews: http://www.crossrhythms.co.uk/artists/Karen_Peck_And_New_River/9800/. Significant coverage on a Southern Gospel website http://www.homecomingmagazine.com/article/karen-peck-new-river-three-for-the-road/ and a review in a fringe magazine: http://www.southerngospeljournal.com/archives/21068. That's enough for me to assume that the group could be sufficiently know. The quality of the article will have to be addressed. I would have checked NRT next. - Keep. I have no interest in Christian music, but a few minutes of Google searching convinced me that the subject is notable. Apparently Peck has received multiple Grammy nominations, there's an Allmusic bio which can be used to confirm many of the statements in the article, as well as an album review of one of her Grammy-nominated albums, half a page in The Encyclopedia of American Gospel Music, other awards and noms ([1], [2]), a page in the book This Is My Story: 146 of the World's Greatest Gospel Singers, coverage in Stories Behind the Traditions and Songs of Easter, and another book, included in Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music, a review on Billboard, a brief news item from Billboard. Convincing enough to establish notability, and quite frankly anyone else should have been able to find all this. --Michig (talk) 08:51, 31 October 2015 (UTC)
- keep there is enough coverage [3] to support an article, although the article needs major improvement.E.M.Gregory (talk) 17:27, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
