The result was no consensus. Woefully little participation after three relists. RL0919 (talk) 18:08, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

Non-notable religious organisation that also runs a high school for around 100 students. Mentioned by local media a couple of times – just like many nonprofits and schools all over the world get mentioned in local media on occasion – but I haven't been able to find anything suggestive of lasting notability per

- Comment NCORP is inappropriate; WP:NONPROFIT is the appropriate guideline to apply here. The founder of the organisation appears notable with multi-year coverage.[1][2][3][4] "Karwan-e-Islami (KeI), one of the largest religious organisations in Jammu and Kashmir." (although DNA India can be questionable as a source)[5] ATD would be redirect to Ghulam Rasool Hami. I searched only in English, would assume further sourcing available in Urdu, Kashmiri and Hindi.

- WP:NONPROFIT is a subsection of WP:NCORP. Anyhow, it fails WP:NONPROFIT criterion 1, too, since it is certainly not an international NGO (unless India and Kashmir are considered two separate countries).
- Hami is borderline notable IMO. But just borderline. The vast majority of people quoted by journalists in everyday reporting are not suitable for inclusion in an encyclopaedia. — kashmīrī TALK 10:57, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
- There's a distinction between the NCORP and NONPROFIT regarding thresholds for notability. Also, NB under "additional considerations": "Some organizations are local in scope, but have achieved national or even international notice." Regards, --Goldsztajn (talk) 11:23, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
