The result was no consensus. Closing as no consensus, as no other participants have agreed with the nominator's notion of the article being promotional, and the most recent !vote simply states "Not notable, small-time pageant event", but does not address the sources that were presented in the discussion. Significant RS coverage not found; what comes up is either local to Vancouver or PR-driven / trivial mentions. Keep - Chinese-language sources verify the notability of this pageant: Seattle Chinese Times, Sing Tao Daily, 51.ca, iask.ca, gcpnews.com, China News, Epoch Times, World Journal, Lady in Bloom (花样盛年), etc. English: Vancouver Sun, Asian Pacific Post, Women of China. Of course, they are just newspapers, and I could not find books or journal articles. However, I hope the newspapers should suffice. George Ho (talk) 04:48, 25 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
