Clearly a notable topic(s?), but duplicates the scope of the already existing (and substantial) Messinian salinity crisis and Zanclean flood, not really a good redirect to either one of them, and the name seems like an unlikely search target regardless. Not sure if there is any content worth merging. Hemiauchenia (talk) 23:34, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

- Delete for reasons mentioned by Hemiauchenia. --Kent G. Budge (talk) 00:20, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
- Delete - yeah, someone didn't check for existing material there... and that is not a good (or even reasonable) search term for redirection. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 00:42, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
- Delete no need for duplication. PianoDan (talk) 18:02, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
- Delete Per Elmidae, as it isn't even a useful redirect. It Duplicates the scope of existing articles, and fails to even mention the names of the two individual events that make it up. (T) (The Alternate Mako) 02:19, 2 January 2022 (UTC)]
