• Delete. As always, people do not get Wikipedia articles just for being unsuccessful candidates in city council elections — but this features neither a credible or well-sourced claim that he could be considered to have preexisting notability for other reasons, nor the depth of coverage it would take to single his candidacy out as somehow much more special than everybody else's candidacies.
