No refs on the page for many years. The refs on de.wiki do not appear to meet the GNG here. I don't speak German but I'm not seeing much which could be considered in terms of notability. JMWt (talk) 11:43, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WP:GEOLAND applies. It's the highest point in the region and there are some references in the German article, and I've found a number of hiking entries, especially when including the Wilhemshütte at the base of the radio tower. Comment while it's the highest local point, it's hardly the Matterhorn, and seems to be more of a local rambling destination than a great peak to which the world's mountaineers flock in hopes of conquest. We could keep the article, but does that serve our readers? It might be better to merge with Schwenningen, Sigmaringen and leave a redirect. Our article on Schwenningen is currently very thin, and the German equivalent does mention the Schnaitkapf, which is obviously viewed as a beautiful asset by the Schwenningeners. The Redirect/Merge option to Schwenningen, Sigmaringen makes perfect sense, and is probably a better organization scheme for English readers than a separate article.
