Another Indian 'Siege' and 'Battle' article which lacks notability and significant coverage. It contains irrelevant content, forcefully stretching the article. The relevant sources cited in the 'Battle' section provide only passing mentions, such as "In 1759 it was surprised by the Mahratta army under Gopal Hari, but was speedily released by Haidar Ali" and "The Maratha leader attacked Bangalore and seized Chennapatnam, and Haider countered the attack by sending his favorite officer."
