Fails WP:GNG and WP:NAUTHOR. Journalist and writer, working in both Iraq and the UAE, article sourced to broken links, Goodreads and subject's own work in newspapers. No evidence of reviews/independent coverage, bluelinked awards or enduring impact. Alexandermcnabb (talk) 12:19, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Removed goodreads and subjects' own work in newspapers, and added reviews from independent sources. Double checked all links and none are broken. What do you mean by bluelinked awards? There is an awards category if that's what you are referring to. Larasabri401 (talk) 13:01, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The nominator means there are no awards that have their own Wikipedia article. For example the Booker Prize. If an author has received a notable award like this one it may point to notability. That doesn't mean that the lack of one of these awards means the subject is definitely not notable though. MarchOfTheGreyhounds (talk) 18:55, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
