Function details: When people die, their articles are often quickly updated. However, the talk pages are often forgotten and continue to have the |living=yes parameter in the wikiproject banners even though they are no longer alive, meaning the article is marked as BLP even though it is no longer one. All pages linked from Wikipedia:Database reports/Potential biographies of dead people (3) will be affected, i checked around 300 articles there and haven't found any false positives. (all having living=yes but are not actually living)
The Regex script finds all instances of |living=yes or |blp=yes in an article's talk page and deletes them. I have tested it extensively and it works just fine, not too much is deleted and no blank lines are left.

I see no problems, except that "| blp=yes" was ignored a few times (like here), but i have fixed that now. --TheImaCow (talk) 15:32, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that it's probably better to replace living=yes with living=no instead of removing it, otherwise Category:Biography articles without living parameter will be flooded. I have changed the code to do this instead. --TheImaCow (talk) 05:27, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
